Create A new Welcome Mat campaign

Your goal is to encourage a visitor to give you their information. You do this by creating a call to action with great design AND copy. Mats can have their own sets of rules to display on certain pages, from certain referrers, on mobile, or anything else you choose.

Design - Create Your Welcome Mat With Our Design Wizard

Your Welcome Mat is responsive and is designed to work for both desktop and mobile devices. Your Welcome Mat options are shared between the desktop and Mobile screens, just click on the tabs at the top to preview how it will look on both screens.

  1. Add mats to your campaign - Select the "Mats & A/B Tests" in the left menu sidebar and click on "Create a New Mat" or "Add Existing Mat" button.

When creating or adding a mat to your campaign, we recommend giving each one a easily identifiable name for comparison purposes (especially when testing minor variations across mats). Click on the edit icon next to the current mat name to update the title to a more recognizable name.

TIP: You can add as many mats as you want to perform your A/B testing.

  1. Evaluate and adjust mat frequency - By default, all your mats are given equal display time to your visitors. Adjusting this slider affects how often the mat appears in the rotation to your visitors.

TIP: We recommend ... [ insert frequency expert advice ] ... for evaluating which popup performs the best over the duration of the test.
    1. Review campaign statistics and make adjustments - To view the ongoing success of your mat, you will want to regularly analyze the results.

      Each mat's relevant data including:
      1. Number of Popups - How many times the mat is shown to visitors
      2. Number of Subscribers - How many visitors are subscribed to the mat
      3. Conversion Rate - How many visitors viewed and subscribed to your mat
      4. Statistical Significance - Measurement of the confidence rate for your mat
